Soft Rock Core Bit
"Devils Dread" is what we have named our Crushed Carbide core bits. These core bits are tough, cut fast, last long and are priced much lower than diamond tools. We use crushed agglomerated carbide stacked 10mm high to provide "impregnated" style cutting action.
The "Devils Dread" core bits are ideally suited for:
Clay
Soft shale
Sandstone
The carbide pieces are brazed to the tool blank and to each other, as one carbide piece wears off, another sharp one below is exposed and continues cutting. We offer a variety of sizes from "N" core and larger.
